Tablet-4-U Contest

After spending most of my life sitting at a desk in law offices and using a computer everyday, I hate to admit that I'm still intimidated by navigating DA......that being said...I'm going to attempt to share SlichoArt (Karin ) journal post about the recent contest hosted by Tablet-4-U.
if this doesn't work...someone please let me know...lol
I think sometimes we underestimate the versatility of iPads/tablets for artistic endeavors.......I create while on a road trip, while eating dinner, while sitting in the doctors office, babysitting grandchildren, and waiting for the ever elusive sleep to overtake me at night.
There are new apps surfacing every day which offer many of the same options that Photoshop does. I'd like to encourage anyone who has one to pull it out, dust it off and give it a try. Hey, you can take your project with you instead of waiting to get home to finish it. (I'm speaking to those I us where digital art is more of a hobby).
After you've started investigating the capabilities of the photo editing apps for tablets....come pay tablet-r-u a visit!

This is my first journal entry! I don't normally "journal" because I simply haven't had the time.......but I'm very excited that there is a new group that has been created! tablet-for-u.deviantart.com/
I use an ipad pad and feel at times I just can't compete with Photoshop! I'm collecting everything I can from this new group here..and putting it here....simply because I'm old and I forget! So if any one reading this works with a tablet Or an iPad, I encourage you to check this out!
